It has been a little over 24 hours since TV actress Aishwarya Sharma got evicted from Bigg Boss Season 17. Aishwarya – who was touted to be one of the strongest contestants on the show, was evicted last night by house captain Isha Malviya on grounds of “regular rule breaks”. Soon after her elimination from the show, the actress addressed in detail why her friendship with Vicky Jain turned into a rivalry on the show.
For the unfamiliar, Vicky Jain is married to actress Ankita Lokhande, while Aishwarya is married to actor Neil Bhatt in real life. All four stars remain to be popular contestants of the show.
Aishwarya Sharma confesses she is not Vicky Jain’s puppet
In a recent interview with The Indian Express, Aishwarya spoke in detail about her rivalry with Ankita and Vicky. She said, “It was an old friendship that turned into rivalry inside the Bigg Boss house. We were told that we were fighting with Vicky-Ankita just for the cameras. But there was a difference of opinion. Vicky always tries to be a leader, but we never give in to being his subjects. I made it very clear that I could not be Vicky’s puppet. He tried very hard to convince Neil, but Vicky means nothing to me.”
Aishwarya Sharma also addressed the controversy surrounding co-contestant Vicky Jain, who appeared to be attempting to strike his wife, Ankita Lokhande. In a conversation with Indian Express, Aishwarya firmly denounced the incident, labeling it as 'absolutely wrong.'
