According to the most recent news, Salman Khan is over his dengue fever and will soon start filming for Bigg Boss 16. The 56-year-old star, who has been hosting Bigg Boss since 2010, couldn't film the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes of the Colors channel show because she was diagnosed with dengue last week.

A source informed PTI that the superstar is actually improving. Although a little frail, he has recovered. According to a source familiar with the show, Khan will begin filming for the weekend episodes on Thursday.

The source further added that, according to the programming team, the Dabangg star will shoot today for Friday and Saturday's episodes. Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter will also be on the set today to promote their film, Phone Bhoot.

Karan Johar, the show's director, took over as host for three episodes while Khan was away.

On Bigg Boss, many famous people compete and are locked in the house while being watched by more than 90 cameras. On October 1, the 16th season of the show debuted on the Colors channel.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Khan will next be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which is set to hit the big screens in April 2023, during the Eid weekend. The film, directed by Farhad Samji, also features Venkatesh Daggubati and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.

Khan also has Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma. Emraan Hashmi plays the main bad guy in the hit series' third instalment, bringing back the superstar and Kaif. Tiger 3 is set for a Diwali 2023 release on the big screens.

But before his full-fledged roles, the star will have a long cameo in Pathaan, which is directed by Siddharth Anand and stars Shah Rukh Khan as the title character. The spy thriller is set to come out on January 25, 2023, and John Abraham and Deepika Padukone are in the lead roles.
