Bigg Boss 16 contestant Shalin Bhanot did not follow Salman Khan’s show till ex-wife Dalljiet Kaur’s entry – what he said

Shalin Bhanot has revealed that he had never associated with Bigg Boss till season 16 happened to him. He then, in a public statement, clarified that he did watch one episode – of his ex-wife Dalljiet Kaur’s entry. Dalljiet had entered the show during Bigg Boss 13.

Shalin had viewed that episode for a special reason. He saw Dalljiet’s entry in order to be able to see his son Jaden on TV. Jaden had come to drop off Daljiet at Bigg Boss 13 Grand Premiere.

“I have never seen Bigg Boss ever in my life. The only episode of Bigg Boss I have seen is the day when Jaden (my son) came at the launch (at Bigg Boss 13) to drop his mom. I don’t know about the past or future of the show apart from that,” the actor said.

Soon going to be seen in a web series, Shalin reveals he picked the show because of his introverted nature. “I like to go back to my books and spend time with my puppy Swag. I love my me time. I don’t know what will happen when I stay with people for 24 hours straight. That is completely new for me,” Shalin said.

The actor heard his friends who were worried about what is he doing with life. Since Shalin is not active on social media and being an actor, he needs to put himself out there, he thought about taking up Bigg Boss. However, the introverted side of Shalin constantly asks him to back out and run. He is that horrified of Bigg Boss and everything around it, including host Salman Khan.

Shalin has not entered Bigg Boss with the intention of finding love. He is sure to share love with people as another human but Shalin is not open to love till his spirit matches the other person’s. Till then, this actor hopes to read books (not available in the house). Despite that, Shalin promises to keep his sanity.

Bigg Boss 16 air and streams on TV and Voot respectively. The show is available for streaming at 9.30 pm on weekends and 10 pm on weekdays.
