One week has passed since the launch of Bigg Boss Tamil 8, with the first eviction taking place last weekend. Producer Ravindhar aka Fatman was evicted based on the votes received from the public. As the game show is stepping into its second week, the nominations have already begun. But Bigg Boss has kept a twist and here is what it is.
The latest promo of Bigg Boss Tamil 8 dropped. While the housemates are entering the second week into the game, Bigg Boss has instructed the contestants to nominate the opposite gender. That is, while men must nominate the woman housemates, it is vice versa for women. This season of Bigg Boss pits men against women, with the house divided into two.
The promo shows housemates going into the confession room, with women contestants nominating Jeffrey, who is alleged to "use the space". On the other hand, Ranjith is also a recurring name. From the men's side, Soundarya and Sachana are named.
Earlier, on the day of launch, Bigg Boss had given an ultimatum to the contestants based on their gender to choose their side of the house. Woman contestants had bargained the better side of the house, by promising that they will not nominate men for a particular week. We will have to wait and see when the male contestants will wield this power.
All the episodes of the season are available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The platform also provides 24*7 streaming of the reality show. Hosted by Vijay Sethupathi, the first eviction of the game took place on Sunday, with producer and reviewer Ravindhar leaving the show.
Out of the first set of 18 contestants, the ones present now include Sachana Namidass, Anshitha Akbarsha, Deepak Dinkar, RJ Ananthi, Arnav, Gaana Jeffry, Ranjith, Arun Prasath, VJ Vishal, Jacqueline, Muthukamaran Jagatheesan, Soundariya Nanjundan, Pavitra Janani, Dharsha Gupta, Sathya, Sunitha Gogoi, and Tharshika.
