The world is already hooked on every possible update about the new season of the widely popular reality show Bigg Boss. Bigg Boss Season 18 has been making all the buzz so far, and the show has been one of the most anticipated of the year. While the time slot of the show has been taken by Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14, there have been rumors that the new season of the show, hosted by Salman Khan, is finally returning once the Rohit Shetty-hosted show wraps up. Now, as per the latest update, the makers have confirmed the new season of the reality show and have also hinted at the theme of the season, with Salman’s voiceover confirming his return to his beloved show that he has hosted for multiple seasons now.

It was said that Bigg Boss Season 18 is all set to hit the television channel and the streaming world on October 5, 2024. However, this is also a rumor because Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 is now heading toward the finale, so this is not a confirmed update. But what is confirmed is the new theme of the show. Read on to know everything you should about the same.

As per the announcement teaser, we hear Salman Khan in a voiceover hinting at a theme that looks at time as a recurring parameter. It is a possibility that the contestants could be running against time in the show. Salman also says Bigg Boss will look into the future of the contestants this time, and that adds an interesting layer to the already exciting concept.

The caption to the post shared by Colors TV reads, “Hogi entertainment ki poori wish jab Time Ka Taandav lekar aayega Bigg Boss mein ek naya twist. Are you ready for Season 18? Dekhiye #BiggBoss18, jald hi, #Colors aur @officialjiocinema par.” The channel has not yet announced the premiere date for the show, and there is no update on the contestants either.

Bigg Boss 18 Contestant List

Although there have been several speculations about many television A-listers joining Salman Khan’s reality show, no confirmed update has been released so far. Shoaib Ibrahim, Arjun Bijlani, Digvijay Singh Rathee, Fukra Insaan (Abhishek Malhan), Isha Koppikar, Surbhi Jyoti, and Harsh Beniwal are a few of the names that have been creating buzz. As per the updated report in India Today, actor Nia Sharma is the only confirmed contestant to participate in Bigg Boss 18, hosted by Salman Khan.
