Bhuvan Bam signs his third acting project, to feature in a romcom

YouTuber turned actor-comedian Bhuvan Bam is gearing up for his third project in which he will be seen playing the male protagonist. The project is touted to be a romantic comedy and is based on the story of a young married couple.

Bhuvan will be producing the show under his production house, BB Ki Vines Production, which is helmed by Rohit Raj.

According to the artist, the story of the show revolves around a young couple and the banter they share. It is a light-hearted comedy show that targets a family audience.

Starting his career as a YouTuber, Bhuvan has expanded his journey from creating videos to appearing in the short film Plus Minus opposite Divya Dutta, in the web series Dhindora, and multiple digital content. The actor also bagged an award for the film Plus Minus.

The web series Dhindora was released on YouTube and Bhuvan claimed that the show had broken several records, including becoming the only Indian series to cross almost half a billion views.

Sharing more insight into his character, Bhuvan said, "The characters are funny and quite relatable. Anyone watching it will always know that one person will be exactly like that person. The project also gave me an opportunity to work with such veteran actors as Atul Sir and Rakesh Sir. These are the people I grew up watching on screen, and now sharing screen space is like a dream come true."

He also revealed that working with such veteran actors and being around them is also a "huge learning experience" for him, not only to grow as an actor but also as an individual.

Srishti Rindani Ganguly, Kamini Khanna, and veteran actors Atul Srivastav and Rakesh Bedi also appear in the show. Apart from the announced show, Bhuvan will be seen in his OTT debut with Taaza Khabar, alongside Shriya Pilgaonkar. The show will be released on Disney+ Hotstar.
