Kartik Aaryan's film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released in theatres on November 1, on the occasion of Diwali. Since its release, the film has been doing exceptionally well at the box office. Along with Kartik as Rooh Baba, the film also stars Triptii Dimri as his love interest and Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit as Manjulikas. The horror-comedy has now surpassed the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office.
Bhool Bhulaiya 3 Box Office Update
As reported by Sacnilk, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 collected Rs 16.50 crore in India on Sunday. The total box office collection of the film in the domestic market now stands at Rs 199.50 crore. Talking about the comparison between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again, Ajay Devgn's film now stands at Rs 206.50 crore in ten days. However, BB earned ₹41.25 crore net in its second weekend as opposed to ₹33.50 crore for Singham Again.
While Singham Again is winning the clash at the domestic box office, Kartik Aaryan's film is leading at the worldwide box office. It has earned Rs 315.40 crore worldwide while the cop drama stands at Rs 312.80 crore.
Earlier, in a conversation with The Indian Express, Vidya Balan talked about how well the film is doing and also mentioned that this is her biggest to date. She said, “The film is doing so well, I am loving it. It is my biggest to date. Can this get any better?"
For the uninitiated, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released alongside Rohit Shetyy's cop film, Singham Again. The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Kapoor among others. While Kartik Aaryan's film faced tough competition with the cop film initially, it is now leading at the box office leaving Ajay Devgn's film behind.
