The crew of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 took June off from filming so that Kartik Aaryan could get Chandu Champion ready for release. The protagonist has now reverted to his Rooh Baba persona, having discarded his Chandu persona.
According to Midday's sources, the final schedule of the horror comedy began last week in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh, with Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, and Madhuri Dixit-Nene. Vidya Balan is likely to join the unit this week. She returns to the franchise after her Manjulika role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007). In June, Anees Bazmee and his crew scouted sites all around Madhya Pradesh before settling on Orchha. The director once again resumed production on the horror comedy on July 3.
A source told the tabloid that the two-week schedule began in Kanchan Ghat, on the banks of the Betwa river. Kartik, Madhuri, and Rajpal Yadav went to the Ram Raja Mandir last week to shoot some intense scenes. Currently, the leading man and Triptii are filming romantic sequences and a song at the Jahangir Mahal. In the next schedule, the four main actors and Vidya will come together for the climax, which will also feature Kartik in some pivotal action scenes.
The settings are critical to the franchise's success. Mumbai and Lucknow played significant roles in the production of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022), in contrast to Jaipur and Hampi, which hosted the 2007 original. The crew has travelled from Mumbai to Kolkata and is presently in Orchha for the next film.
Anees settled on the town because of its picturesque setting and wealth of historically significant architecture, including palaces and monuments. The latter works wonderfully with Bazmee's story, which is all about the supernatural and superstition, according to the source.
Bhushan Kumar emphasized the importance of filming at famous locations such as Ram Raja Mandir and Orchha Fort, stating that these places not only provide stunning backdrops but also add a genuine allure to the narrative. These historical sites enhance the cultural richness of all the scenes.
Next week, filming will conclude, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will then be ready for release during Diwali.
