Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 director Anees Bazmee on Singham Again: 'I will be the first to watch it, don't believe in words like...'

Director Anees Bazmee is currently awaiting the release of his movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The horror comedy film marks Kartik Aaryan's return as Rooh Baba in the third installment. Kartik shares screen space with Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit Nene in the movie. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to clash with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again on November 1, 2024. In a recent interview, Bazmee said he will be the 'first' to watch the Rohit Shetty directorial.

Anees Bazmee on Singham Again

Speaking with Mid-Day, Anees Bazmee's two major films have released on the same day earlier and became successful. He hoped that both Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again would perform well at the box office.

"I don’t believe in words like ‘clash’. A lot of people associated with Singham Again are my friends. I am sure they’ve made an expensive film with terrific action. I will be the first to watch Singham Again, and I hope the audience watches both films," he told the tabloid.

Did Anees think of casting Tabu again?

In the same conversation, Anees further revealed if he considered casting Tabu for the third installment after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. "Tabuji is a fantastic actor and a dear friend of mine. Her performance had a huge role to play in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s success. But the point where I left her character—where the ghost and the villain were left together in a room—taking that forward would not be appropriate," he said.

Written by Aakash Kaushik and helmed by Anees, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is scheduled for a Diwali 2024 release. Also starring Rajpal Yadav, Triptii Dimri, Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar, and others, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 150 crore.
