Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 - Check out Kartik Aaryan's unique way to say ‘hello’ to Kolkata, amid shooting for the horror-comedy

Bhool Bhulaiyaa fans, rejoice! The third instalment is coming soon with more hilarious and creepy moments. Kartik Aaryan has already begun shooting in Kolkata, and his ‘tantrik’ look is creating quite a buzz on the internet for the past few days. In the very first glimpse, he was seen riding a bike in a black kurta, styled with a black bandana on his head. We have already seen this look in the second instalment, when Kartik dressed as a tantrik to help the villagers get rid of the ghost, Manjulika.

Kartik Aaryan's unique way to say 'hello' to Kolkata

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was filmed in Rajasthan, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is now capturing the beauty of the city of joy, Kolkata. After the first glimpse went viral, the 33-year-old actor himself posted a picture from Kolkata. He is seen standing in the middle of the famous Howrah Bridge, and the iconic yellow taxis are shining bright behind him.

While greeting the denizens of the city, the Luka Chuppi-actor wrote, “Kolkata How-rah you”, adding a humurous wordplay to 'how are you Kolkata'. As expected, fans have flooded the comments with exciting reactions. While some welcomed him by mentioning ‘Rooh-baba’, some encouraged him by saying, “Rooh-baba on his way with another blockbuster.” Some even urged Kartik to say one or two lines in Bengali language, while a few Bengalis are upset that they couldn't meet him directly. It is evident that Bengalis are eagerly waiting to watch their beautiful city picturised in the horror-comedy.

Kartik Aaryan's biggest success

After the huge success of Akshay Kumar-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa, fans were not so happy about Kartik Aaryan getting cast in the second instalment in 2022. But after the release of the second instalment, the film unexpectedly became a blockbuster and garnered Rs 266 crore at the box office. The film also marks Aaryan's first-ever project that entered the Rs 200-crore club. Hence, it's quite evident how precious the film series is for the actor.

This time, Triptii Dimri has been roped in to star opposite Kartik. And Vidya Balan will be seen again, although we are not sure if she will return as Manjulika or not. But we know, the third instalment also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Madhuri Dixit, Rajpal Yadav, Elnaaz Norouzi and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 release date

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is expected to release this Diwali 2024. However, no date has been officially announced.
