Kiara Advani is currently basking in the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The actress, who starred in the film along with Kartik Aaryan, is certainly keeping busy these days. Not only is she awaiting the release of her upcoming film Jug Jugg Jeeyo, the actress is also juggling a few other projects in her kitty. Advani opened up about her string of recent success and the initial days in her career.
In conversation with PTI, the actress recalled how she had gotten her start in the industry as a 21 year old. She talked about how she did not really understand much about herself at the time, about who she wanted to be or what she wanted to say. She only knew that she wanted to become an actress, but lacked an understanding as to what kind of stories she wanted to tell.
Even after finding success, Advani said that it did not really ‘empower her’ to make braver choices at the time. She gave the examples of her successful Netflix films such as Guilty(2020) and Lust stories(2018), saying that she had chosen the latter due to Karan Johar’s involvement. The actress said that the success of these films helped in ‘pushing her career. “It was all instinctive. Success makes you feel a sense of responsibility," she said.
Advani will next be seen in the Karan Johar production Jug Jugg Jeeyo, sharing the screen with Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. The film will be released on June 24. Her upcoming releases also include a project with Ram Charan and Govinda Naam Mera.
