Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu talk about the horror comedy in a BTS video

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was one of the most anticipated movies of the year and it hit theatres last week. The movie has seen great business and is already one track to be one of the biggest hits of the year. The movie’s makers have now shared a behind the scenes video where Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and director Anees Bazmee talk about how the sequel was made. 

The video opens with some clips from the movie, where we see the supernatural prowess and presence of Manjulika before it shifts to Tabu in the sets, talking about the movie. The actor reveals that horror is a new avenue for her, before both Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan also speak about how horror comedy is a new genre for them as actors. 

The video offers clips from behind the scenes, where we can see everyone involved with the filming having some fun while bodies fly around them and the horror mood is set. 

We also see the makers and director Anees talk about the weight of making a sequel to a cult classic such as Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The 2007 movie starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan is still a highly beloved movie in Bollywood. Needless to say, the makers of the sequel have gotten it right, and the box office numbers are proof. 

Reportedly minting over Rs. 14 crore on opening day, the horror comedy has had a fantastic weekend. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has made Rs 66.71 crores including Monday's numbers, and is on track to reach the Rs. 100 crore milestone.
