Bholaa Shankar is all set to release on August 11, 2023. As it is the last day before the release, the hype for the film has caught on quite well. Thanks to Chiranjeevi's speeches and fun interviews, the action drama has gone deep into the audience now. Meher Ramesh has directed this film and he is making a comeback to direction after twelve years and all eyes are now on him as to how he will narrate the remake.
Well, a few days back, Chiranjeevi took a dig at the AP government for criticizing the stars and the money they earn. This did not go well with the YCP government and they have been targeting the megastar big time through hate speeches and trolls on social media. This speech of Chiranjeevi has also become a cause of concern for the makers, Anil Sunkara.
Going into details, a few days back, the makers approached the government of AP with a proposal for a ticket hike of Rs 25 in all areas of its release in Andhra. The scene was also in favor of the makers and a GO was ready to be passed. But ever since this speech of Chiranjeevi went viral, the YCP government has denied permission for a ticket hike now.
Bholaa has been made on a massive budget as Chiranjeevi's last film, Waltair Veerayya was a massive hit. So, a chunk of money has gone into the fees of the stars in Bholaa Shankar. Mahati Swara Sagar has composed the music for this film and he has done a below-par job. Keerthy Suresh plays Chiranjeevi's sister in the film and her off-screen chemistry with Chiranjeevi has caught on all over.
On the other hand, Meher Ramesh also commented on the original terming a few scenes cringe and this created a new controversy. Whatever is the reason, Bholaa Shankar, which was dying with a lot of buzz is now releasing with good hype at the box office.
