Bholaa poster: Ajay Devgn shares the first glimpse of his most challenging action-drama

Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn has never shied away from challenges. And his upcoming film, titled Bholaa, is said to be his most challenging and experimental action-drama to date. The movie is set in one night and follows the narrative of a man who fights different opponents inhuman and other forms.

The actor took to his Instagram page to announce the release date, with a motion poster and a caption that read, Ek Chattaan, Sau Shaitaan. Iss kalyug mein aa raha hai #Bholaa, 30th March 2023.”

The poster features a serious Ajay Devgn with holy ash smeared on his forehead. The motion poster gives a glimpse of Ajay’s look in the film through a montage, with a voiceover in the background. The Drishyam actor can be seen staring into the camera with a pair of handcuffs dangling next his eyes. The voiceover is also accompanied by upbeat music in the background.

Bholaa follows the narrative of a man, who is unrelenting as he confronts drug lords, corrupt forces and other heinous obstacles on his quest to reach his young daughter. All of this is captured over 24 hours.

Bholaa is the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Kaithi. Lokesh Kanagaraj directed the action thriller, which released in 2019. The original action film starred Karthi, along with Dheena and Narain.

Ajay Devgn was last seen in Drishyam 2, which was a blockbuster hit, earning ₹100 crore within a week of its release last month. It proceeded to become one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year. Bholaa is slated to release in theatres on March 30, 2023.
