Bhediya on OTT: Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon film FINALLY gets a release date on JioCinema

'Bhediya', starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, was produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Amar Kaushik. It is Vijan's third horror-comedy film. The film was released in theatres in November 2022. Now the OTT release date of the film is confirmed. 

The film, which also started Deepak Dobriyal and Abhishek Banerjee is now set to release on OTT on Jio Cinema on May 26.

The story of Bhediya revolves around the main character of Bhediya, played by Varun Dhawan, who is a cunning yet amiable contractor who travels to the isolated state of Arunachal Pradesh to help with the easy capture of the tribal lands for a large construction project. Bhasker is egotistical and only cares about finishing the construction project as soon as possible by any means required, regardless of whether doing so goes against the Tribal people's beliefs or nature itself. In the tribal area, he encounters a strange wolf-like creature that seems to be guarding the woodland sections from invasion and looting. And thus the story unfolds. 

Despite the movie's below-average box office results, anticipation for its OTT release among fans points to a strong run on the digital platform. Bhediya has all the elements of becoming a hit on Jio Cinema thanks to its star-studded ensemble, compelling plot, and top-notch humour.
