The horror-comedy Bhediya, starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, is making progress at the box office. On November 25, the movie was released, and it got off to a good start. On Day 7, Bhediya brought in approximately Rs 42 crore, according to trade estimates. On Day 8, the movie is already inching closer to Rs 50 crore.

Bhediya, starring Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan, was released on November 25 in multiple languages. Since its debut, the movie has received mixed reviews. Bhediya is currently standing near to the Rs 50 crore milestone, yet it is unlikely for the movie to reach the Rs 100 crore-mark. Now, on Day 7, the movie brought in about Rs 3 crore. Thus, the total amount collected is Rs. 42.06 crore. The film collected over Rs 49.62 crore in India on Day 8.

Amar Kaushik is the director while and Dinesh Vijan is the producer of the comedy-horror movie Bhediya. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon play the key roles in the movie. After Dilwale, this is Kriti's second movie with Varun (2015). Bhediya is the third film in Vijan's horror-comedy series. On November 25, it premiered in theatres.

The plot of Bhediya, which is set in Arunachal Pradesh, centres on a young guy named Bhaskar who suffers a wolf bite in the forest. He eventually begins to change into a werewolf as well.

Besides, the movie has managed to earn more money than the recently released An Action Hero, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead. This is despite facing a tough competition from the Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2. On the first day of its release, the movie only made about Rs 1.25 crore.
