The first look poster of Bhavana's Malayalam comeback Ntikkakkokkoru Premondarnn was released on Sunday by its lead actors and the movie promises to be a feel-good entertainer that has the actress in her element once again.
Starting Bhavana and Sharafudheen, the movie is scripted and directed by debutant Adhil Maimoonath Asharaf. Mammootty had launched its title poster earlier this year that promised a fun entertainer with elements of sports, food and several aspects related to youth.
The film's director had earlier revealed that it's a family drama with a cute love story. Ntikkakkokkoru Premondarnn began shooting in May with Thrissur being its main location.
On roping in Bhavana, the director has said the film required an artiste who could portray various emotions and Bhavana fit the bill perfectly. While it did take them time to convince her to sign the film, Adhil said she eventually like the story and involved in further discussions about how the project shaped up.
Though Bhavana has been active in Kannada, being part of films such as Srikrishna@gmail.com and Bhajarangi 2, it's her first Malayalam movie in five years. Her last Malayalam venture was Prithviraj Sukumaran's Adam Joan. The actress has also signed Kannada movie Pink Note, in which she will be playing dual role for the first time in her career.
Meanwhile, Sharafudheen, whose previous release Priyan Ottathilanu is set to release on Manorama Max soon, will next be seen in Alphonse Puthren's Gold and Mammootty's upcoming thriller Rorschach, which is set to release on September 29. He has also completed shooting for Senna Hegde's crime-comedy 1744 White Alto.
