Bharathanatyam OTT release date: When, where to watch the Surya Teja crime comedy

Bharathanatyam is a low-budget Telugu film that hit the screens on April 5, 2024. Featuring Surya Teja Aelay and Meenakshi Goswami in lead roles, the crime comedy ended as a massive flop at the box office. Now, we have come to know that Aha has bagged the digital rights to the film and will stream it from July 27, 2024.

The same was also announced by Aha through a new poster. Bharathanatyam also had Viva Harsha and Harshvardhan in key roles. Director KVR Mahendra, known for his debut with the emotional drama Dorasani, took a departure from his previous filmmaking style with Bharatanatyam, but sadly, things did not work at the box office.

The music, scored by Vivek Sagar, was decent, but his background score was even more appreciated. One of the biggest highlights of the film is the climax, which is hilarious. The scenes featuring Viva Harsha provide a lot of relief and end the film on a decent note.

But the rest of the proceedings are dull. Surya Teja, who is trying hard to prove himself, does a decent job in his role and says that Bharathanatyam impressed its target audience. The casting, production values and certain twists that are showcased at the break point are a few assets of Bharathanatyam.

We have also come to know that Aha has spent a very nominal price to bag the digital rights of Bharathanatyam. If you are a fan of crime comedies, you can give this film a shot but keep your expectations quite low. Well, we need to see how this comedy caper will fare once it is out of Aha.
