Bharateeyudu 2 is one of the biggest films to be released in Tollywood on July 12, 2024. It is the dubbed version of Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 which Shankar has directed. Well, the pre-release event happened on a great note in Hyderabad, and the entire cast and crew spoke highly about the film and Kamal Haasan's performance in the movie.
Bharateeyudu 2 theatrical rights details for Telugu states
Well, we at OTTplay have some exclusive info about the Telugu release. We have come to know that the Telugu theatrical rights of Bharateeyudu 2 have been sold at a whopping Rs 24 crore in Telugu states. This is the highest ever for a Tamil dubbed film and gives an idea of what kind of confidence the makers have in the film.
We also reported that there is a low buzz for the film in Telugu states and not many were coming ahead to buy the rights. But we have come to know that producer Dil Raju helped the makers in getting solid buyers just a few days ago.
The highest price for which Indian 2 was sold in Telugu comes from the Nizam area(Telangana). The rights have been sold for just over Rs 12 crore, as per the news. That means Bharateeyudu 2 needs to take a bumper start at the box office.
Huge presure on Bharateeyudu 2 to deliver
As the first part, Bharateeyudu, was a smash hit, the audience will throng the theaters for Indian 2, but the film needs to start with a blockbuster talk. The Shankar film is getting a wide release in the Telugu states. One of the most significant advantages for the makers is that as Kalki 2898 AD has completed a week, Bharateeyudu will get enough theaters.
