Bhamakalapam 2 - I am thankful to the makers who looked beyond my beauty, says Seerat Kapoor

Bhama Kalapam had a good outing on Aha and now the makers are ready with its sequel, Bhama Kalapam 2. Starring Priyamani, Saranya Pradeep, and Seerat Kapoor in lead roles, the heist drama is all set to stream on February 16, 2024.

Abhimanyu has directed this film, which is about a housewife who gets into a ghastly crime and how she comes out of it. This is the film's basic storyline. The trailer of the film has caught the imagination of one and all. Seerat Kapoor will be seen in the role of Zubeida and she is quite happy to be a part of the film.

Speaking to us, Seerat says that she is lucky to be a part of such a prestigious project and is looking forward to the response from the audience. "I thank director Abhimanyu for looking beyond my beauty and giving me a role that gives me scope for performance. I am sure everyone will love me in the role of Zubieda," says Seerat Kapoor.

It has been quite some time since we have seen Seerat in Telugu and we need to see how much the film will help her in the days to come. Priyamani is playing the female lead in this film, which has been made on a good budget.

The makers have promoted the film on an aggressive note for the last few days and there is a solid buzz for this film. Saranya Pradeep, who is high on the success of her last film Ambajipeta Marriage Band, is also playing a key role in this film and she will be seen as Priyamani's sidekick.

The stakes in the film are high and we need to see how the likes of Seerat Kapoor perform in this film that has been made on double the budget of the first part. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
