Directed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti, the web original film has Dear Comrade director Bharat Kamma as its showrunner

Actress Priyamani, who jumped onto the OTT bandwagon with a bang, thanks to The Family Man, is also set to make her debut in the Telugu OTT space as well. Her first Telugu OTT release will be Bhama Kalapam, a thriller comedy helmed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti. Also starring John Vijay, Pammi Sai and Sharanya Pradeep in key roles, Dear Comdrade filmmaker Bharat Kamma is its showrunner. Bhama Kalapam is all set to have its OTT premiere on the Telugu streaming platform aha on February 11.
Cast in the role of a homemmaker Anupama, who runs a popular Youtube cookery channel, Priyamani plays a woman who's notorious for her gossips around the apartment and is increasingly curious about her neighbours' personal lives. Her flatmates and husband are equally fed up of her. What connects her to a murder in the apartment? And does she have an escape plan? The film's teaser was launched by actress Rashmika Mandanna the previous weekend, while the first look poster and first glimpse elicited a positive response from crowds.
Labelled a delicious home-cooked thriller, Sudheer Edara and Bogavalli Bapineedu of SVCC Digital (who're currently producing Ashoka Vanam Lo Arjuna Kalyanam) are the producers of Bhama Kalapam. Radhe Shyam, Dear Comrade composer Justin Prabhakaran has scored the music for the project whose technical crew also comprises cinematographer Deepak Kumar and editor Viplav. It's not known if the Tamil version of the film will premiere on aha Tamil.
