It's nothing new for Sree Vishnu to finish films at a breathtaking pace. While his dramedy with Rajendra Prasad, Gaali Sampath and the critically-acclaimed Raja Raja Chora released recently, he's signing off 2021 on a high with the actioner Arjuna Phalguna, slated to hit theatres on December 31. His next release after Arjuna Phalguna will be Bhala Thandanana, a commercial entertainer for which he's teaming up with Baanam director Chaitanya Dantuluri. Catherine Tresa plays the female lead in the project.

Bhala Thandanana, produced by Rajani Korrapati, marks the return of the production house Vaarahi Chalana Chitram to Telugu cinema after a brief sabbatical. The film's shoot has been wrapped up and a first look poster announcing the same was released today. Sree Vishnu, dressed in a denim overcoat with a white tee and blue jeans, is seen holding a couple of guns in his hands in an old factory, where a group of henchmen can be spotted. Both Bhala Thandanana and Arjuna Phalguna have hinted at Sree Vishnu's keenness to explore the action genre and grow as a commercially bankable actor.

The makers say that the film will showcase Sree Vishnu in a new dimension, while Catherine too reportedly has a meaty role in it. Catherine's last release was the Vijay Deverakonda starrer World Famous Lover, while she'll also appear in key roles in Nithiin's Macherla Niyojakavargam and Kalyan Ram's Bimbisara. KGF antagonist Ramachandra Raju is cast as an antagonist in Bhala Thandanana.

Mani Sharma scores the music for the project, marking his third collaboration with Chaitanya Dantuluri, after Baanam and Basanti. Srikanth Vissa has penned the story for the film, with Marthand K Venkatesh and Gandhi Nadikudikar coming on board as the editor and art director respectively. Peter Hein is the stunt director and Suresh Ragutu is the cinematographer. More details about the film will be announced shortly.
