Bhakshak - Bhumi Pednekar shines as a journalist in the captivating new poster; Trailer out tomorrow

The new crime drama Bhakshak on Netflix India will debut on February 9 and is based on true events. Red Chillies Entertainment is the production company behind the movie, that's co-produced by Gaurav Verma and Gauri Khan and directed by Pulkit. Key characters are played by Bhumi Pednekar, Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, and Sai Tamhankar. The captivating plot of the movie's teaser had already attracted the interest of the viewers. A fascinating new poster offers an insight into Bhumi's portrayal of journalist Vaishali Singh. The poster also reveals the trailer's premiere date and it is all set to release tomorrow, January 31.

Bhumi Pednekar in the new poster of Bhakshak

The makers of the upcoming movie Bhakshak released a new poster on Tuesday, January 30, showing the primary actress Bhumi Pednekar as journalist Vaishali Singh. In the poster, Bhumi appears sitting at a desk, looking determined with her brown dupatta and yellow kurta. Her laptop in front of her and a camera recording her live report captures the spirit of dedicated journalism.

The captivating poster is accompanied by a statement about the trailer's release date: “BREAKING NEWS: It's Vaishali Singh reporting live! The fight for justice has begun. #BhakshakTrailer out tomorrow! #Bhakshak, a film inspired by true events coming on 9 February, only on Netflix!”

What's Bhakshak about?

The struggle of an unwavering woman seeking justice is explored in Bhakshak. As Vaishali Singh, Bhumi Pednekar plays the part of an investigative journalist who seeks to expose a horrible crime and expose the ground truth of crimes against women.

The film will showcase Pednekar investigating a case of sexual assaults at a child shelter home, based on terrifying actual events.
