Bhajarangi 2 trailer: A Harsha and Shivarajkumar’s fantasy ride is high on action and intrigue value

Century Star Shivarajkumar’s third collaboration with choreographer-filmmaker A Harsha, the fantasy thriller Bhajarangi 2, is arguably one of the most-anticipated Kannada films of the year. The sequel to their 2013 film Bhajarangi, this one ups the ante and how. It’s unbelievable that it’s been eight years since the original, because Shivanna brings the same amount of energy and intensity into the high-octane story, as is evident in the trailer. What stands out is the production value – Bhajarangi 2 looks immaculate, the graphics are spot on, even though some of the props and visuals look as if they have been borrowed from Hollywood movies. Saurav Lokesh looks truly menacing. The 3-minute trailer has just enough sequences to give audiences a glimpse at each of the characters and want more. While the trailer doesn’t tell us much more about the story itself, the paranormal is definitely a part of it. Good thing that the film is only days away from its date with audiences.

Bhajarangi 2 will pair Shivanna with Bhavana. The film also has Shruthi, Saurav Lokesh and Shivaraj KR Pete, among others, in pivotal roles. The film has music by Arjun Janya and some of the songs, Bhajare Bhajare Bhajarangi and Nee Sigoovaregu have already creating waves on music charts. Director Harsha had earlier announced that the film will get a simultaneous Telugu release as Jai Bhajarangi, but it is unclear if they will release it in other languages as well.

Bhajarangi saw Shivarajkumar surprise his fans by sporting six-pack abs. The film was widely appreciated, especially for the actor’s performance. It remains to be seen what the team has in store for audiences this time around, when all the action in the Jayanna Films’ production unfolds on October 29.
