Filmmaker Apoorv Singh Karki's Bhaiyya Ji became Manoj Bajpayee's 100th film. The actor, who made his acting debut in 1994, attempted action sequences himself in the movie. Bhaiyya Ji was theatrically released on May 24, 2024. Almost two months after the theatrical release, the makers have announced Bhaiyya Ji's OTT release. The movie will drop on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium on July 26, 2024. Before that, a new poster of the film has been shared online.

Bhaiyya Ji new poster featuring Manoj Bajpayee

ZEE5 shared an intriguing poster of Manoj Bhaiyya Ji on Instagram. The poster highlights a heavyweight dialogue from the film: "Ab nivedan nahi, narsanhaar hoga." While sharing this poster on social media, the streamer wrote, "Get ready for an action thriller at its best! Kya aap taiyaar hai Bhaiyya Ji ke liye? (sic)."

This film marked Manoj's second collaboration with director Apoorv Singh Karki after their 2023 film, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai. In Bhaiyya Ji, Manoj has played the lead role of Ram Charan Tripathi. The storyline of this film revolves around Bajpayee's character embarking on a journey to seek justice after his younger brother's death. He is seen as a retired yet feared criminal in the movie.

Manoj Bajpayee on not using body double for Bhaiyya Ji

During the promotion of his film, Manoj Bajpayee told India Today as to why a body double wasn't used for his action sequences in Bhaiyya Ji. "It was not my decision. I could have used, you know, 50-60 percent of a body double, but somewhere, the action director was very, very stubborn about presenting a different side of Manoj Bajpayee to the audience."
