Bhagyashree felt she ‘wasn’t good enough’ even after Maine Pyar Kiya

Bollywood actress Bhagyashree is best known for her performance in Salman Khan’s Maine Pyar Kiya. Despite working in just one movie, the actress was critically acclaimed but she did not make a comeback for the longest time. Now, she said that felt she ‘wasn’t good enough’ despite the movie.

Bhagyashree spoke about her ‘inferiorities’ to Radio Nasha. The actress said she was constantly worried whether she was doing the right thing.

The one thing advice the actress would like to give her younger self is ‘be more confident.’ “Even after Maine Pyar Kiya, I was feeling like I wasn’t good enough,” she revealed.

The actress played the role of Suman in the movie. The role became a popular template for the ‘girl-next-door’ in Bollywood.

After her debut with Maine Pyar Kiya, Bhagyashree stepped away from the limelight. She got married to her then-longtime boyfriend Himalaya Dassani. The actress revealed that he is a private person and she adapted to that lifestyle. Thus, Bhagyashree was away from limelight for a long time.

The actress came back into films only now that her son Abhimanyu Dassani made his debut. She was seen on Nach Baliye with her husband and is now back to doing films.

Bhagyashree was seen in a cameo appearance in Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. She will now appear in the film, NRI Wives.
