Balakrishna’s film has opened to positive responses from critics and viewers alike

Amidst tight competition from Tamil film Leo, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s action entertainer Bhagavanth Kesari made it to theatres today. The film marks the first collaboration between the star and director Anil Ravipudi. Sreeleela, Kajal Aggarwal, Arjun Rampal and Sarath Kumar play other pivotal roles. The film is produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under Shine Screens.
Going by the early responses for the film on social media, Bhagavanth Kesari has impressed its target audience. The fans are quite happy about how Anil Ravipudi has presented Nandamuri Balakrishna on the big screen. The viewers opined that the director had a clear idea of what he wanted to convey through the movie and utilised the star’s presence accordingly.

Balakrishna’s performance, with three variations has been received well and there are several moments that promise an adrenaline rush. Much like Veera Simha Reddy and Akhanda, composer S Thaman’s music has elevated crucial scenes in the film, netizens say. Reportedly, the film has also given adequate scope for Sreeleela to shine. The Telangana slang dialogues are another major highlight.
The second half is definitely better than the first half, a section of viewers feel. Bhagavanth Kesari is a women empowerment story ultimately, a Twitter user added and felt that the message of the film was integrated well with the mass elements. The action choreography has also received praise. Bolstered by the good word of mouth, the collections are only expected to get better.
On the whole, viewers state that Anil Ravipudi has reinvented himself as a filmmaker, making a meaningful commercial film that won’t disappoint the masses. Ram Prasad cranked the camera for the film whose lineup also comprises Jayachitra, Raccha Ravi, Muralidhar Goud, Aadukalam Naren and Raghubabu. Tammiraju edited the film.
