Bhagavanth Kesari, marking the first collaboration between director Anil Ravipudi and veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, is gearing up for a release on October 19. Sreeleela plays Balakrishna’s niece and Kajal Aggarwal is cast as his romantic interest in the action entertainer produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under Shine Screens. Arjun Rampal is the antagonist in the film.
S Thaman is composing music for the film. The promo of the first single in Bhagavanth Kesari, Ganesh anthem, released to warm responses earlier this week. The full version of the celebratory festive number was unveiled today. Kareemullah, Maneesha Pandranki have crooned for the track which has lyrics by Kasarla Shyam. Sekhar Master is the choreographer of the same.
The song unfolds amidst a celebration as part of Vinayaka Chavithi, featuring Balakrishna and Sreeleela. “Sambho Sambho Sambho re..Lambodara Aayare..Bolo Gam Gam Ganapathi Bappa Moriyare..,” the number takes off in style and boasts a liberal mix of Hindi, Telugu and Sanskrit verses, elaborating on the glory of Ganesha with innovative word play, showcasing the range of the lyricists.
The catchy composition bringing in the right mix of devotion, massiness and energy instantly casts a spell on viewers. The lively cinematography, vibrant production design, equally impressive choreography contribute to its appeal. The promo version of the song garnered over 2.5 million views on Youtube already. Junglee Music acquired the audio rights of the action entertainer.
Sarath Kumar plays another important role in the film. Veteran technician C Ram Prasad is the cinematographer and Tammiraju is the editor. Rajeevan is the production designer while V Venkat supervises the stunt sequences. While Balakrishna will move onto a film directed by Bobby next, Anil Ravipudi may get to direct Bholaa Shankar star Chiranjeevi as per trade circles.
