#BFF release date: When and where to watch Siri Hanumanth, Ramya Pasupuleti’s show on OTT

Two girls of the same age from contrasting backgrounds, navigating through the highs and lows of adulthood together under the same roof in Hyderabad - this is exactly how one would describe #BFF in a nutshell. The official Telugu adaptation of the popular Hindi show Adulting, #BFF stars Siri Hanumanth, Ramya Pasupuleti, iDream-fame Anjali and Praneeta Patnaik in the lead and is directed by Bhargav Macharla.

#BFF releases on the Telugu OTT platform aha this weekend i.e. May 20. Aha has teamed up with leading storytelling platform Dice Media and Tamada Media for the production of the show. The makers claim this isn’t a frame-to-frame remake but an adaptation that has its own identity while also keeping the soul of the original intact. The trailer of #BFF was launched earlier this week.

Siri and Ramya play roommates Nithya and Tara who can’t do without one another, while Praneeta Patnaik is cast as a house owner in addition to Anjali playing a modern-day mom, who tries to adapt with the times. Right from their love lives to workspace struggles and dealing with moral policing and monetary issues, the woman try to come to terms with adulthood together.

Bhargav Macharla, the director of #BFF, had earlier helmed web originals like Nett, Kailasapuram in the past. Both shows are streaming on ZEE5. Siri Hanumanth shot to fame with her stint in Bigg Boss Telugu while Ramya Pasupuleti has considerable experience in the digital space too. The original version of #BFF, Adulting, starred Aisha Ahmed, Yashaswini Dayama and Viraj Ghelani in the lead.
