Director Guy Ritchie's spy action-comedy film stars Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, and Alex Pettyfer. Drawing heavily from Damien Lewis' 2014 book Churchill's Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII, the movie is a dramatisation of Operation Postmaster.

Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (2023)

Another movie by Guy Ritchie, this spy action-comedy was written by Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson, and Marn Davies. Hugh Grant, Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone, and Jason Statham are among the movie's stars. The movie centres on Orson Fortune (Statham), a spy who has to find a high-tech item that has been stolen before Grant, an arms dealer, can sell it to the highest bidder.

American Assassin (2017)

Michael Cuesta's action thriller stars Dylan O'Brien, Michael Keaton, Sanaa Lathan, Shiva Negar, and Taylor Kitsch. The story revolves around a young CIA black ops recruit named Mitch Rapp, who assists a Cold War veteran in preventing the detonation of a rogue nuclear weapon. The plot is loosely based on Vince Flynn's 2010 novel of the same name.

Unlocked (2017)

Michael Apted, Peter O'Brien, Noomi Rapace, Orlando Bloom, Michael Douglas, John Malkovich, and Toni Collette star in this action thriller. It was Apted's last film before his death in 2021. The film follows CIA agent Alice Racine (Noomi), who is assigned to investigate an intelligence alert regarding an imminent lethal biological attack at a football stadium in London.

Sicario (2015)

Denis Villeneuve helmed this American action thriller that stars Josh Brolin, Emily Blunt, and Benicio del Toro. The movie is about a dedicated FBI special agent who is recruited by a government task force to assassinate the violent and influential head of a Mexican drug cartel. The movie was nominated for Best Original Score, Best Sound Editing, and Best Cinematography at the 88th Academy Awards.

The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018)

Director Susanna Fogel's action-comedy film stars Mila Kunis, Kate McKinnon, Justin Theroux, Sam Heughan, Hasan Minhaj, and Gillian Anderson. It is about two best friends who, after learning that one of their ex-boyfriends is a CIA agent, are pursued by assassins across Europe.
