The makers of Berlin shared a new poster featuring Aparshakti Khurana. The espionage thriller also stars Rahul Bose, and Ishwak Singh and will be available on ZEE5 (OTTPlay Premium).

After premiering in several film festivals including the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival in 2023, Berlin is aiming for an OTT premiere skipping theatrical release. The movie stars Aparshakti Khurana, Rahul Bose, and Ishwak Singh in the lead roles. After the trailer release, the makers shared a new poster featuring Aparshakti.

Taking to the official Instagram handle on September 5, ZEE5 dropped a new poster of Berlin featuring one of the leading actors, Aparshakti Khurana. In the poster, he is looking promising as Pushkin Verma. He is a sign language expert who is set to interpret a suspect’s story.

Sharing the poster, they captioned it, "Pushkin Verma—a sign language expert chosen to interpret a suspect’s story. How will his life change when he becomes too involved in decoding the Russian president’s assassination plan? (shocking emoji)"

The 2-minute, 30-second trailer gives a peek into the story set in Delhi in 1993. Pushkin Verma, hired by Rahul Bose’s character Jagdish Sondhi. He has to investigate Ashok Kumar, a deaf-mute man, played by actor Ishwak Singh. Ashok is believed to be working for a foreign intelligence agency. 

Reacting to the trailer on YouTube, one user commented, “All the actors are topnotch,” while another stated, “Oh nice.. very interesting! Rahul Bose after such a long time. Aparshakti looks good... Great star cast.. !”

Aparshakti Khurana on Berlin

The actor enjoying the blockbuster success of Stree 2, once opened up about his character in Berlin. In an earlier interview with PTI, Khurana said, "It was a very alien world, but it was so beautiful. There's so much to be communicated through the eyes and in sign language, it becomes even more important. The beauty of this language is that it has a more organic approach towards life."

Meanwhile, Berlin is produced by Umesh KR Bansal, Atul Sabharwal, and Manav Shrivastav, and directed by Atul Sabharwal. It is slated to release on September 13, 2024, on ZEE5 (OTTPlay Premium).
