Actor-choreographer Raghava Lawrence celebrated his birthday on Tuesday, October 29. While we had earlier reported that the actor has a project titled Benz lined up for release, the makers of the film released a teaser of sorts to celebrate his birthday.
Written and directed by filmmaker Bakkiyaraj Kannan, the film is produced under director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s home production house, G Squad along with Passion Studios and The Route.
Benz teaser unveiled
The teaser of Benz, the upcoming Tamil film starring Raghava Lawrence in the lead role, was unveiled by the makers on social media.
The teaser begins with a man wearing a helmet, as we are soon unveiled him to be director Lokesh Kanagaraj. He says, "A warrior with a cause is the most dangerous soldier," as he welcomes Raghava Lawrence to his universe. The teaser then shows the poster of Benz who is wanted dead or alive, and a man riding a motorbike, and after various visuals that tease LCU conjured up, we are introduced to Raghava Lawrence through a butcher's knife reflection.

Benz is expected to be under LCU, which also consists of Kaithi, Vikram, and Leo. However, the makers have not yet revealed how the latest film will be connected to the previous installments. LCU is a network of stories by Lokesh Kanagaraj that revolves around vigilantes against drug trafficking. Actors like Vijay, Karthi, Kamal Haasan, and Suriya, are already part of LCU.
Benz is written and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, with a story by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It is presented by Lokesh Kanagaraj's G Squad, Passion Studios, and The Route. Sudhan Sundaram, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Jagadish Palanisamy serve as producers.
Benz is expected to commence production soon. The details on the rest of the cast and crew members are yet to be revealed by the makers. Benz is yet to get a release date.
