The Day 3 collection of Akshay Kumar starrer espionage thriller, Bell Bottom is here. The film, which was the first major Hindi film to release in theatres after restrictions were lifted post the second wave of the pandemic apparently collected somewhere between 2.95-3.25 crores INR on Saturday.
According to the figures in Box-Office India, the film managed to collect 3.25 crores INR, while the figure mentioned on Bollywood Hungama is around 2.95- 3.15 crores INR. The collection on both Thursday, i.e., day one and Friday, day 2, was 2.75 crores. The total now stands at over 8 crores.
Well, there is no doubt that the film will breach the 10 crore mark after today's collection, everyone is hoping that the film should be able to make close to 12 crores. That would be a boost for the film, and would also motivate other makers to think of a theatrical release of their films at times like these. One of the reason that the numbers are low is because theatres in Mumbai and Pune still remain shut, as is the case in many other Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. In fact, the slight growth in number is also because of the ease of restrictions at a few places on Saturday. It is also being reported that the film will release on OTT soon for everyone to view.
