Sreenivasan and Vineeth Sreenivasan starrer Kurukkan will be available to stream on Manorama Max from August 25. The father-son duo earlier shared the screen in movies and some of their collaborations became big hits. Sreenivasan took a break from movies recently due to his ill health. Kurukkan marks the comeback film of Sreenivasan in which he boasts a full-length role. Makante Achan: Sun NXT
Makante Achan is the first Malayalam film in which Vineeth was seen alongside his father. The film was released at a time when the coaching centres for medical and engineering entrance examinations were operating widely. Sreenivasan plays Viswanathan, an ordinary government servant whose world comprises his wife and two children Manu (Vineeth) and Meena. Viswanathan wants to make his son an engineer but Manu is not interested in pursuing the career. The personality clashes between the father and the son form the plot of the story.

The film was a spin-off of the superhit Mohanlal starrer Udayananu Tharam. Sreenivasan, who wrote the script of Udayananu Tharam, also penned Padmasree Bharat Dr. Saroj Kumar. The actor reprises his role in the original film, Saroj Kumar, an arrogant superstar who thinks that he controls the film industry. Vineeth essays the role of an aspiring young actor who crosses paths with Saroj Kumar. Padmasree Bharat Dr Saroj Kumar mainly revolves around the antics and unethical acts of Saroj Kumar to maintain his stardom.
Aravindante Athidhikal: Disney+Hotstar
Aravindante Athidhikal is one of the biggest hits in the career of Vineeth Sreenivasan as a lead actor. Vineeth essays an orphaned young man, Aravindan, who runs a motel with his guardian played by Sreenivasan. Aravindan was abandoned by his mother in front of a famous temple when he was 5 years old. Due to the memory, Aravindan has pledged not to set foot in the temple until he meets his mother. But Aravindan's life takes a turn when he develops a relationship with one of his guests in the motel, Varada, played by Nikhila Vimal.
