Ghajini

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Ghajini stars Suriya, Asin, and Nayanthara in prominent roles. The film follows the life of a man who once was a millionaire but is now suffering from short-term memory loss and reminds himself to hunt down some people and kill them. While Asin plays his love interest, Kalpana, Nayanthara plays a psychiatrist student who is handling a man in the present. Ghajini became a commercial blockbuster and was remade in Hindi, with Aamir Khan playing the lead and Asin reprising her role.

7aam Arivu

7aam Arivu is 2011 sci-fi action drama starring Suriya and Shruti Haasan. The film revolves around a Chinese agent who arrives to India to start a biological war, while there is a student of genetic engineering trying to prevent this by reviving the skills of ancient sage Bodhidharma by working with his descendent. The film is directed by AR Murugadoss.

Ayan

Ayan is an action thriller about a skilled smuggler, Deva, who works for his well-intentioned boss. But when one day his friend, who works for a drug smuggler, gets killed in a mission, Deva turns furious and sets out to avenge him. The film is directed by KV Anand and stars Suriya, Tamannaah Bhatia, Jagan, Prabhu, and others.

Nandha

Directed by Bala, Nandha is a 2001 action drama starring Suriya, Laila, Rajkiran, Saravanan, and Rajshree and others. The film is about a young man who comes out of a youth detention centre and tries to fit in a society where there is no one to call his own. Nandha has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Mounam Pesiyadhe

Mounam Pesiyadhe is a romance drama made by Ameer in his directorial debut. The film revolves around a restaurant owner who falls in love with a girl, only to learn that she is his friend's cousin, whom his parents want to get him married to. The film marks Trisha's debut as the female lead and also stars Suriya, Nandha, Neha Pendse and others.
