Corona Dhavan, a film about a group of alcoholic villagers craving liquor during the lockdown period, will be available to stream on Saina Play from October 20. 1. Sathyam Paranja Viswasikuvo - Sun NXT

The story revolves around a mason worker who struggles to make ends meet. He has a problem with alcoholism, which makes his situation worse. Due to a small misunderstanding, he gets involved in a police case which complicates his life further. Biju Menon, who portrays the role of the mason, has delivered comedic moments in Sathyam Paranja Viswasikuvo. Samyuktha Varma, in her comeback movie, proves her mettle yet again. The strong dialogues aptly suited the situations and elevated the content of the presentation.

2. Paavada - Sun NXT

Paavada Babu (Anoop Menon) is a literary enthusiast, who also happens to be an alcoholic. He is confined in a room at a rehab centre along with another notorious drunkard, named Pambu Joy (Prithviraj Sukumaran). Both have been sent there by their well-wishers to help them overcome their addictions. However, the duo manages to escape and ends up hiding at Paavada’s house. The story takes a turn when Paambu finds out about Paavada’s earlier profession, leading to a shift in the genre of the narration. The story of Paavada starts as a comedy, but gradually becomes an emotional drama with absorbing performances by Asha Sharath, Anoop and Prithviraj.

3. Love Action Drama - Disney+ Hotstar

The story of Love Action Drama revolves around Dinesh (Nivin Pauly), a young bachelor who has a crush on Shobha (Nayanthara), a successful businesswoman. Dinesh meets Shobha at his cousin’s marriage function and tries to impress her with the help of his childhood friend, Sagar (Aju Varghese). Although the film lacks a fresh storyline, it has all the elements of an entertaining movie - including songs, action sequences and the hilarious chemistry between Aju and Nivin.

4. Honey Bee - Disney+ Hotstar

A group of friends enjoys partying and organising dance shows. Two close friends, Seb (Asif Ali) and Angel (Bhavana), face a dilemma just days before Angel’s wedding. Seb regrets letting her go and hatches a plan with the group to kidnap her from her home the night before the wedding. The following day, Angel’s fierce brothers start hunting them down. Honey Bee is a film which is fresh because of its treatment and humorous moments. Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese and Baburaj are hilarious in the film directed by Lal Jr.
