Bedurulanka 2012: This is how much the Karthikeya, Neha Shetty starrer needs to be in the safe zone

Kartikeya Gummakonda made heads turn with the film RX 100. But since then, he is yet to score a proper hit in his career. He also turned villain in star hero films of Ajith and Nani but that did not help him one bit. He got married and took a break from films. But he is now back with his new period drama, Bedurulanka 2012, which is a comedy-drama set in a small village that believes that the world will end in the year 2012.

The excitement is building as the film's producer, Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni of Loukya Entertainments, plans to release the film on August 25, 2023. Well, ahead of its release date, the movie has secured the theatrical release rights, projecting an estimated revenue of around Rs 5 Cr, a promising and encouraging figure. 

So, the film needs to get an impressive talk and the rest will be taken care of by itself. For the overseas release, The Village Groupe will be handling distribution, while the rights for the ceded area have been acquired by Sri Dhanush Films. Shankar Pictures has acquired the rights for Nizam and Andhra regions. 

The movie boasts a talented cast including Kartikeya Gummakonda, Neha Shetty, known for her role in DJ Tillu, and Ajay Ghosh, who has a prominent role and will be hilarious in character. The movie's promotions are already in full swing, with the teaser and songs creating a strong buzz among the audience. 

A compelling trailer is scheduled to be unveiled, further intensifying the excitement for the film. Neha Shetty is making heads turn with her dance moves in this film. She is one of the selling points of this film. The film is directed by Clax and he says that the backdrop of the film itself is unique and the icing on the cake is a satirical comedy that has been executed in a superb manner.
