The trailer of Beast has crossed 30 million views on YouTube in just 24 hours of its release

Beast is one of the most-anticipated South Indian movies getting ready for a release. The makers released the movie’s trailer on Saturday, and it has now set a new record for views in the first 24 hours.
The trailer, which was released by Sun Pictures, raked in over 30 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours. The trailer also earned over 2.2 million likes.The video sets the new record for most views in 24 hours, for a South Indian trailer released in one channel and one language.
Beast trailer beat Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam, which had 23.2 million views in 24 hours, to set the new record. What is even more impressive, is that the trailer has crossed the three-month views of Ajith's 'Valimai' trailer within a day.
The star’s fans are taking to Twitter to celebrate the feat, and has also stirred up a new fan war between the two actors’ fans.
Directed by Nelson, the movie also features Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, John Vijay, Lilliput Faruqui, and Redin Kingsley, among others in supporting roles.
The makers have also announced that the action comedy will hit theatres on April 13. With a runtime of 155 minutes, the movie has also been censored with a U/A certificate.
The first two singles from the movie have already been released on YouTube and were received with much fanfare. The first single titled Arabic Kuthu, was released on February 14 and has over 263 million views on YouTube. The second single, Jolly O Gymkhana, has over 39 million views.
