Actor Hakkim Shah, known for his roles in Archana 31 Not Out, Pranaya Vilasam, and Kadaseela Biriyani, met with an accident during the shoot of Mammootty's, Bazooka. Following the unfortunate incident, Hakkim was taken to a hospital and he is currently under observation. He was riding a bike as part of a chase sequence and it collided with a divider. It is reported that the actor suffered a concussion due to the accident.
Hakkim Shah began his professional journey as an assistant director, but later took up acting. He played a significant role in the popular short film Freedom at Midnight. His first big break came with the indie movie Kadaseela Biriyani, in which he portrayed a ruthless villain as the lunatic son of a landlord. Hakkim then went on to star alongside Amala Paul in the thriller flick, The Teacher, playing one of the lead roles in it.
Bazooka, Theatre, and Sorgavaasal are the upcoming projects of Hakkim. He will be also seen in the comeback film of Raghunath Paleri as a scriptwriter. The film helmed by Shanavas K Bavakutty features Poornima Indrajith and Priyamvada Krishnan along with him.
His last outing was Pranaya Vilasam, featuring Arj un Ashokan, Miya George, Anaswara Rajan, Manoj KU, and Mamitha Baiju. The movie was one of the box-office successes in Malayalam in 2023. Hakkim had shared recently that it was Mammootty who recommended him for Bazooka after the veteran was impressed with his performance in Pranaya Vilasam.
Bazooka is said to be the first game thriller in Malayalam and is directed by Deeno Dennis. It has an ensemble star cast including Neeta Pillai, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Shine Tom Chacko. Mammootty recently wrapped up his portions for the film and joined the set of Jayaram's Abraham Ozler. In an interview with OTTplay, the director said that Bazooka has other interesting elements in addition to its thrilling sequences.
