Bazooka – Gautham Vasudev Menon’s first look from Mammootty’s film is revealed

Bazooka, the highly anticipated project which features megastar Mammootty in the lead role, is now nearing the final stages of its production. The movie, which is helmed by newcomer Deeno Dennis, also features the filmmaker-turned-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon in a pivotal role. The makers of the Bazooka are currently busy with the last schedule of the film, which started rolling in Kochi recently. On the special occasion of Gautham Menon’s 51st birthday, the makers of Bazooka revealed the actor-director's first-look poster from the movie, on social media.

Gautham Vasudev Menon’s role in Bazooka revealed

The promising first look poster of Gautham Vasudev Menon, which features the multi-faceted talent in the backdrop of a garage, has already been winning the internet. The poster also reveals that the Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya director is set to play the role of Benjamin Joshua in the movie, which is touted to be a full-fledged action flick. If the reports are to be believed, the filmmaker-turned-actor is set to play a grey-shaded character in the much-awaited project.

“Presenting to you Benjamin Joshua from #Bazooka. Happy Birthday @menongautham! Wishing you a great year ahead,” wrote leading man Mammootty, who dropped Gautham Menon’s first look from the movie, on social media. Deeno Dennis, the director of Bazooka, shared the actor-filmmaker's first look poster on his official Instagram handle and wrote: “Happy birthday to the ever charming @gauthamvasudevmenon sir. GVM as Benjamin Joshua.”

All about Bazooka

For the uninitiated, Bazooka marks the directorial debut of Deeno Dennis, who is the son of veteran scriptwriter Kaloor Dennis. The much-awaited movie features Jagadish, Sidharth Bharathan, Sunny Wayne, Gayathiri Iyer, Shine Tom Chacko, Sharaf U Dheen, Neeta Pillai, Iswarya Menon, and others play the supporting roles in the film.

The project is penned by writer-director Jinu V Abraham. Nimish Ravi and Roby Varghese Raj are the directors of photography. Midhun Mukundan composes the songs and the original score. Bazooka, which is bankrolled by Yoodle Films, is expected to hit the theatres by the second half of 2024.
