Bawaal teaser Twitter reaction: Fans root for theatrical release of Varun Dhawan & Janhvi Kapoor's OTT film, call it 'much better' than Bachchhan Paandey, Heropanti 2

The teaser for Bawaal starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor was finally released today. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial also features Manoj Pahwa and Mukesh Tiwari in pivotal roles. Netizens have loved the latest video and shared their reactions to it on social media. While plenty of fans rooted for Bawaal's theatrical release, some cinephiles also compared it with Bachchhan Paandey and Heropanti 2

One of the movie lovers shared, "This looks like a complete theatre material and it's a shame crap like heropanti 2 ,bachan pandey got theatrical release but not this The looks, aesthetics, bgm and last scene everything on point. #VarunDhawan #Bawaal (Sic)."

Another one penned, "I would rather see this in Theatres than the Crap Bacchan Pandey & Shit Heropanti 2 which NG released in Theatres. #Bawaal looks much more than just a OTT material. Also its disheartening to see a Nitesh Tiwari Directorial directly on OTT. #VarunDhawan #JanhviKapoor (sic)."

A netizen spoke about Varun and Janhvi's fresh paring and tweeted, "so intense and intriguing. varun and jhanvi look so good together. this film is going to be amazing and deserved to get a full theatrical release but it's a shame how some crap projects get full fledged theatrical releases but films like #Bawaal don't. (sic)."

Bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala and Ajay G Rai, the story of the forthcoming flick is penned by Nitesh Tiwari, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Piyush Gupta, Nikhil Mehrotra and Shreyas Jain.

Bawaal is set to release on Amazon Prime Video on July 21.
