Post the success of the hard hitting The Kerala Story, Adah Sharma is once again on the top of her game as seen in the just released trailer of Bastar The Naxal Story

For all those who thought that actress Adah Sharma was only about doing romantic roles, she proved everyone wrong with her role in the hard hitting The Kerala Story, a film that made everyone stand up and take notice of the sheer talent that she is made up of. Just as when the audiences were still reeling under the impact of The Kerala Story, Adah Sharma announced her next project ‘Bastar’, a film that is based on the dreaded Naxalite movement. Today, the film’s makers released the film’s much awaited trailer.
Today was the day when all of Adah Sharma’s fans were eagerly waiting for it, for it was the day of the release of the trailer of her next film ‘Bastar’. The film’s makers had already given a taste of what to expect from the film in the two teasers, which were released earlier.
As for the film’s trailer, it starts off with a voiceover that states Naxalites are the third most dangerous body in the world after ISIS, which is followed by a nerve-wrecking line that states, ’76 Indian CRPF men martyred at Tadmetla, Sukma, Bastar’. And in a speech given by one of the Naxal men, he says that ‘they have killed 76 dogs’, while referring to the 76 Indian CRPF men.
This is followed by an inspirational line mouthed by Adah Sharma (who plays the role of IG Neerja Madhavan) who looks totally dashing in the armed force’s uniform. Speaking of Adah Sharma’s character, she is shown to be a totally fearless officer, who does not think twice before calling a spade a spade. What follows after this are the extremely merciless visuals of the Naxalites chopping off the body parts of the common man in full public view.
Adah Sharma, who will be seen in the role of a fearless IPS officer, is the one who doesn’t let your attention go astray in the entire trailer. No sooner had Adah Sharma posted the hard hitting trailer on social media, the internet was only super happy to shower praises for the lady and her stellar performance in the film.
While one netizen wrote, “This movie should earn atleast 300 cr if not more. Bastar movie should be a Block-Bastar’, there was another who wrote, ‘What a movies lineup we are witnessing... Going for it for sure’. Another netizen posted, ‘Very very brave trailer. Must watch for every indian jai hind’.
As for the film, besides Adah Sharma, it also stars Indira Tiwari, Vijay Krishna, Yashpal Sharma, Raima Sen, Shilpa Shukla. The film, which has been written by Amarnath Jha, Sudipto Sen and Vipul Amrutlal Shah, has been directed by Sudipto Sen. The film is all set to hit the theatres on 15th March 2024.
