Barroz first show timings out: Mohanlal’s directorial debut to get a massive release?

Barroz, the long-awaited film will mark the directorial debut of Mohanlal, the legendary superstar. The veteran actor is also playing the titular character Barroz, the guardian of Vasco D Gama’s treasure in the film, which is slated to be released on December 25, 2024. As per the latest updates, the children’s fantasy film will not have early morning shows like Mohanlal’s other big releases. The sources close to Barroz have also revealed the first show timings of the film.

Barroz first show timings are out

According to the reports, the makers of Barroz have decided to not have early morning fan shows for the film, considering its genre. As Mohanlal suggested in his recent interviews, his directorial debut is a children’s fantasy film made, which is made in 3D format. The first shows of the much-awaited film will begin at 9.30 AM, in all releasing centers across Kerala. The rest of the India centres might also follow the same timings for the Barroz first shows, while the overseas release will have different timings.

Mohanlal recently dropped the first single from Barroz 3D, which is composed by Lydian Nadhaswaram and sung by the actor-director himself, on social media. The ‘Isabella music production video’ which is now winning the internet, suggests that the superstar’s directorial debut is going to be a soulful experience for Malayalam cinema audiences. As the veteran actor suggested earlier, Barroz is going to be a unique visual experience for international audiences.

Barroz, which is based on Jijo Punnoose’s renowned novel Barroz: Guardian Of D’Gama’s Treasure, originally started rolling in 2021. After writer Jijo walked out citing creative differences with the actor-director, Kalavoor Ravikumar joined the team as the additional script writer. Santhosh Sivan is the director of photography of the project. Lydian Nadhaswaram composes the music. The highly anticipated project is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor, under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas.
