Although Barkha Bisht's career spans more than a decade, most of her work has been in the television industry. Kya Mast Hai Zindagi, Sankatmochann Mahabali Hanuman, and Tum Saath Jab Apne are just a few of the famous series in which she has appeared. In addition to her work on television, she has also appeared in several Bollywood films as a supporting character. The 2014 Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela is one of her creditable features. Notable actors such as Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Richa Chadha, Gulshan Devaiah, Supriya Pathak, and many more were part of the film's cast.
Barkha discussed various professional experiences and anecdotes in an interview with the Siddarth Kannan podcast. Her encounter with the grandeur specialist while working on a Bhansali set was one of many anecdotes. Ranveer Singh was among those who would remain silent if he became angry. Fortunately, she was spared having to deal with that aspect of him, but she did see it. The actor counts it as a blessing that he liked her, but she has seen her fellow performers in similar predicaments.
Barkha supposes that's because of Ranveer's personality, but Bhansali was never that way with him, she said in response to the question of whether the filmmaker would lose his temper with the leading star. Despite his well-known work ethic, one should not overlook his positive attitude and infectious laughter. Even when people are furious about something, he manages to calm them down and prevent things from going out of control.
Sharing yet another anecdote from the set, the actor lavished Ranveer with adulation. She was self-assured in her portrayal as a "one-take" actor on television. However, when filming Ram-Leela, she would give a single shot 16 takes. She was terrified that her career was about to end when Ranveer came over to reassure her. In addition to Deepika's 50 takes, Ranveer informed her that he had contributed 30. "You're good," he told her.
Barkha revealed that she and Ranveer spent a lot of time chatting about their histories and families in between takes, but that she never had the opportunity to film alongside Deepika.
