The big screen is about to re-release yet another heartwarming film. Directed by the talented Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon, and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles, Bareilly Ki Barfi is once again set for a theatrical release on February 7, 2025. This endearing story of love, laughter, friendship, and sizzling chemistry is returning after six years, and the film definitely has a loyal fanbase.

Bareilly Ki Barfi: Unique love triangle set in Bareilly

In Bareilly Ki Barfi, Bitti (Kriti Sanon) tries to contact the author she falls in love with through Chirag (Ayushmann Khurrana). When Chirag falls in love with Bitti and makes an effort to win her over, comedy results. The tiny town of Bareilly is the setting for Bitti, a free-spirited young woman who lives life on her own and rejects pressure to be married. When she meets Pritam Vidrohi (Rajkummar Rao) and Chirag Dubey, her life changes.

Because she respects the author Pritam Vidrohi's progressive outlook, Bitti Mishra, a Brahmin Bareilly girl, falls madly in love with him. However, finding him proves to be a challenging task. Thus, Bitti turns to Chirag Dubey, the proprietor of a nearby printing plant, for assistance in her romantic quest.

Bareilly Ki Barfi characters highlights

Ayushmann Khurrana portrays Chirag Dubey, a kind but occasionally self-centered writer who develops feelings for Bitti and begins writing her letters. He apologises after using Pritam to get to Bitti. Kriti Sanon portrays Bitti Mishra, an independent woman who challenges the expectations of a patriarchal society. She falls in love with Pritam and is eager to see him. Rajkummar Rao portrays Pritam Vidrohi, Bitti's love interest and an innocent salesman who turns into a goon after falling into Chirag's trap.

The film also features Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa in supporting roles.
