Barbie star Ryan Gosling in talks to make MCU debut and no, it’s not for Doctor Doom in Fantastic Four – Here’s everything we know

None of us were even remotely ready to imagine Ryan Gosling as Barbie's Ken and when that first look was launched with Ken on the band of his underwear, we were all sold in minutes and Kenergy took us all by storm. Barbie released and made our belief in Ryan even stronger and also curious to know what he does next. However, we weren’t even prepared for the news that was coming in today. Claims say that Ryan is back in talks with the Marvel Studios’ executives for a role and no, he is not discussing Doctor Doom. 

If you are aware, this is not the first time Ryan Gosling is rumored to be discussing a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The last time he was in the mix was recently when the talks of Doctor Doom for Fantastic Four emerged. There were reports that the studio is eying Gosling to play Victor Van Doom in their Fantastic Four Reboot and soon it was reported that he is no more in contention as he has passed on the role. 

But it seems like he is back to the realm and this time for a different role. As per the Comic Book Movie, Ryan Gosling is in active talks with the Marvel Studios’ executives for a secret role. Nothing about the part he is in talks for is yet out and the Studio will obviously keep everything about it under wraps. Only time will tell whether Gosling joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe or not. And if does, for what.

Meanwhile, Ryan Gosling has worked with the Russo Brothers on The Gray Man, streaming on Netflix. Russos for the initiated has directed multiple movies for the Marvel Studios. One of which is Avengers: Endgame. Back in the day while talking about his interest in joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ryan was quite open to the idea of becoming a superhero.

Talking about the same, Gosling said, “I think they (Russo Brothers) felt my Kenergy. They must have felt it before I did. I hope they can manifest this MCU thing.
