To date, Aparajita Adhya has played a homely, calm, and affectionate woman – an elder daughter of a family, a suffering wife, or a successful homemaker. Every character has so far been positive for her. Now, Aparajita will reportedly play a negative role.
Aparajita will be seen in the film Bansara, directed by Atiul Islam. She will play a negative role in the film based on mythology. She will play the daughter of a Zamindar family in Purulia. She told Anandabazar Online, "This is apparently a negative character. But it has shades. When I heard the story, I found it fabulous and agreed." She also said, "Till date, I was the symbol of good to the audience. I got the chance to play negative roles twice."
Bonny Sengupta will play a cop in the movie. The shooting will start in December. The film is set to be released during Durga Puja, in 2025.
Aparajita will be seen in Manasi Sinha's film 5 Nombor Swapnamoy Lane. The film, based on relationship drama, will also feature Kharaj Mukherjee, Chandan Sen, and Arjun Chakraborty.
