Balakrishna has been the talk of the town and the focus of attention on social media for the last few days due to his alleged willingness to star in the Malayalam film Aavesham's Telugu remake. Recent reports, however, state that Balayya has not signed a deal for the remake and that no one has started these discussions with the actor.

Additionally, it has been reported that the actor has refrained from doing remakes for an extended period of time. According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Nandamuri Bala Krishna has turned down the role of the remake because he dislikes playing characters with a grey tone.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming films

The actor has a full schedule of upcoming projects, and Balakrishna has been in contact with a number of up-and-coming, accomplished directors. Following the completion of NBK109 filming, Balayya will collaborate with Boyapati Srinu on the sequel of Akhanda. In addition, he will have a significant part in his son Mokshagna's debut film.

In addition, he has been in discussions with a few directors; these projects are expected to be revealed in the beginning of 2025. Bhagavanth Kesari, his most recent release, is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Featuring Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, the mass action-comedy movie became one of the biggest hits in Malayalam cinema this year. After making its streaming debut on Amazon Prime Video, the Jithu Madhavan directorial received a tonne of appreciation from viewers.

The film opened on April 11 with the highest box office opening of all the Vishu releases thanks to a remarkable surge in attendance. Three weeks after its theatrical release, the movie joined the Rs 100 crore club. Fahadh Faasil's arrival revitalises Aavesham and heightens the film's suspenseful and humorous elements. The remaining actors in the film are Sajin Gopu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Midhutty, Pranav Raj, Mithun Jai Shankar, Neeraja Rajendran, and Roshan Shanavas.
