Nandamuri Balakrishna is on top of his game with back-to-back hits in his career. The icing on the cake is that he has won the MLA seat from the Hindpur region for the third time in a row, a record in that region of Andhra. Things have gone to the next level as Balakrishna has announced a new film on his birthday, June 10, 2024.
The film is none other than Akhanda 2, directed by Boyapati Sreenu. It has been in discussion for a long time and was announced on the social occasion of the star hero's birthday. As Balayya and Boyapati have teamed up for the fourth time, the makers have tentatively titled the film #BB4. It will be a mass action drama with a social fantasy element as the backdrop.
Ram Achanta and Gopi Chanta, who made the blockbuster hit Legend with Balakrishna, are jointly producing this film on a massive scale. The special aspect of this project is that Geetha Arts, headed by Allu Aravind, was supposed to produce this film and announce it on a massive note. But the poster with the banner name 14 Reels has shocked everyone.
The reason behind Allu Aravind backing out of the project is not known yet, but the owners of 14 Reels have a massive project in their hands and are making a comeback after giving a few flops. There is a small function that will be arranged to announce the same later in the evening as per the news, and Balayya himself will attend it.
The news is also that Balakrishna's daughter, Tejaswini, will present this film. Thaman is likely to compose the film, which will be made on a budget of just over Rs 100 crore. The shooting of the film will kick start once Balakrishna is done with the Bobby film, which is currently on floors.
The makers will soon announce the heroine, main villain, and technical team of #BB4. A star hero from Hindi cinema is likely to play a key role in this pan-India project. Watch this space for more updates.
