Balagam OTT release: Dil Raju pockets handsome money with this village drama

The upcoming Telugu village drama, Balagam is a film that has caught the imagination of many. The film is being helmed by actor-turned-director Venu Yeldandi. The makers released the trailer yesterday and in no time, it has gone viral. Set in the Siricialla district of Telangana, the film has Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyanram in lead roles and will be out on the 3rd of March.

Dil Raju is presenting this film and his daughter Hahshita Reddy and nephew Harshit Reddy have jointly produced Balagam. Made on a very low budget, the film has already cracked some handsome deals business-wise as per the news. We have come to know that Dil Raju has locked the OTT and satellite rights for a fancy price and the film is already in profits. Even though it is a small film, the makers have pocketed double the budget's money from the OTT deal in particular.

The OTT platform which has bought the rights has been kept a secret. Balagam is a family drama that deals with the conflict of a key person's death in a family. Bheems Cecerolio composed the music. and the song, Palleturu has become a good hit and the promos have been garnering decent attention from the audience. Dil Raju has made special plans and has been screening the film in various districts of Telangana and the response has been quite good.

Coming to the director Venu Yeldandi, he made his film debut with Dil Raju's Munna featuring Baahubali fame Prabhas. It is identical that he is also making his debut as a director under the same banner. Recently, Venu held a screening for all his comedian friends and the response from them has been quite good. But the ultimate test is when the film releases on the big screen this Friday. The film's pre-release event will happen today.
